NOTICE ACCEPTING SEALED BIDS FOR USED EQUIPMENT

Brown County, Kansas, is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of the following used equipment:

1993 Case 580SK Backhoe
Serial number: JAB0026304
Hours: 3,820.9

The equipment is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties expressed or implied.

The equipment may be inspected by contacting Solid Waste Director at 785-742-2782 to arrange an appointment.

Sealed bids must be received by the Brown County Clerk’s Office, 601 Oregon Street, Suite 202, Hiawatha, Kansas 66434, no later than 4:30 p.m. on September 18, 2026. Bids should be clearly marked “Used Equipment Bid.”

Bids will be opened at the Brown County Commission meeting on September 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Brown County Courthouse.

Brown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
